Not covered
- Units first occupied for residential purposes after November 15, 2018 are exempt from the guideline.
- Community housing, long-term care homes and commercial units follow different rules.
- An increase above the guideline needs the Board's approval or the tenant's written agreement.
- Quebec, and the other provinces and territories.
